Whatever information you can supply on the entire James Gilbert Curtis and Katherine Rohrig Bishop family would be enormously appreciated. Gilbert C. Bishop (an abbreviation of his full name) and Katherine, I find, are both buried in the Winchester Cemetery in Scott Co., IL--learned this from another respondent to my query. B

I research GOINGS surname. Recently some surprising information came to light. It involves the surname JOHNSON. George Elmer Goings was born February 24, 1884 in Scott Co. Illinois - probably Winchester. Parents were Sarah Knapp Goings and John Jonah Goings. In July 19, 1932, Elmer was Mussel Hunting on the Illinois River, off Beardstown. and somehow drowned.
