I am still trying to figure out where my greatgrandfather died. I wrote to the state dept of vital statistics who tell me that he did not die in either Wells or Allen Counties between 1918 and 1922. Someone here mentioned researching the PERL name, and it appears several are searching for VanHorns. I suppose y'all are aware that the PERLs and VanHorns intermarried, at least once. When I was a kid around Monroeville in the mid-50s, I knew a lady named Mildred Perl VanHorn. Perl was her maiden name. My mother will know her parents' names, but I can't think of them right off. Hello, I am researching the YOUNG lines in Allen County. I do have a Heinrich Christian /YOUNG/ who married a Martha Jane /STENICK/ in Allen Cty on 7 April 1870 .
