Looking for the ancestors and descendants of John Yerks, b. 1797 in NY or Canada, d. 1870 Allen Co., IN. He m. Christina unknown and had children including: Franklin, James Mordica, William, Nathaniel, and Catherine. John and Christina Yerks are buried in St. Joe Cemetery, St. Joe Center Rd., Allen Co., IN. I am looking for information on a Charles MANLEY b.1825 in CT to Menzies and Polly (Phelps) Manley. His father and brothers moved to Richland Co., WI about 1853, but Charles does not appear to have migrated with them. It is possible he married and stayed in Allen Co., IN when they moved. I would be very interested in his wife's name and the names of any children. This family was closely aligned with the SIPPY family of Allen Co. Karla staudt@cptelco.net

I have an unrelated Fort Wayne question...I have a picture of a Reverend Frakes. It was taken in Decatur, Indiana. It came from the album of a Charles and Carrie Decker of Fort Wayne. Nothing else is known, except he had a daughter (perhaps others), Philinda Hatch, b. 9 Mar 1820, in NY, d. 25 Apr 1907, Allen Co., IN. Philinda Hatch married William L.
