Susie,
Have you looked at the family history catalog at
familysearch.org? These records have been filmed (I
justed did a check) so you can goto your local Family
History Library and view it for $3.25.
Good luck,

Hello Everyone:
I have added over 2,000 Colonial Ancestors to the 1600s Ancestor Data Base with
more to come.
The total is now over 26,500 and most all are proven Ancestors of
descendants living today.
I have also added several National Societies who have proven many
of these Ancestors. Also at this time a few new respected Reference
works that contain hundreds of sources including some of the early
colonists who have Royal Blood lines.
The 1600s Ancestor Data Base should be a big help for those of you

Hello, I am one of the people whose name is on those emails and I have no
idea what is going on, I have not sent anything to the website or anything
else. I do not appreciate the language I am receiving and would like it if
someone would straighten this out. I am a genealogist by hobby and hearing
impaired, I do not use the phone. Can someone please contact the website
and get this straightened out.
Thank you very much.

I have kind of lost the original message here, but I am near the Family
History Library for the next month. Maybe I can copy it & email it, if you
send me the details & catalog number. I will admit I really don't know what
I'm doing there, so don't expect miracles ;-)

I am looking for the McCormicks that lived around Washington Twp. & Lake
Twp. around 1836 to 1880. After 1880 either the family or 2 brothers moved
to MO. I found a William M McCormick land purchase near Washington Twp. 5
Apr. 1836 & it said he and/or Jacob Wiedman was from Stark Co. OH. Anne
MILLER (McCormick) probably died between 1875 & 1880.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Linda, you gave me a piece of imformation that helped even if it wasn't what
I wanted to hear. One set of great-grandparents were married in 1863(?)
maybe 62 in Fort Waye. I was hoping to get there this summer to get a copy
of the marriage certifcate and possibly be able to use it as a source to link
my ggrandfather to his father all I have now are census records, cemetary
photos, birth info on their children nothing yet for that link back a

Thanks Bill, I will see if I missed that reel for the McCormick's I am
looking for. Luckily I am just 1/2 hour bus ride to the SLC family history
library for the next few week.
My uncle may be going to IN this summer, does anyone know where to find or
know if there are any church records in Allen Co. between 1830-1880? Right
now my uncle isn't sure what faith the McCormick's were, but maybe I can
find out before he leaves.
Thanks again

I was looking at the Allen Co. IN. deed index, 1829-1873 Page 332. I feel
like a dummy I don't know what the difference between grantor & grantee,
but I found this & was hoping someone could help me place this property.
grantor: McCormick, William
grantee: Hill, David and Hessut B.

Also I found 2 marriages of William H McCormick in Allen Co. but they
didn't give the age at the time of marriage. I was hoping this might be my
William H. second marriage.
