4. Re: [INBOONE-L] TATUM [1]
Kim, You have indeed found Rachel Tatum, divorced wife of Wm Tatum, and the Nathaniel Tatum household, Wm's father. It's actually possible you may have found William. If "Berry" stands for "Asbury" and William married or was living with this Elizabeth, that could be the couple. He may have been a blacksmith. Albert could be his son and three of the others could be hers, even if their last name is listed here as Tatum. IF this is actually William, Nelly would likely be William's daughter. This i

Hello, My grandfather was Joseph WILEY BOLER. He was named after a friend/relative?? with the last name Wiley. He was raised in Boone Co. IN . His father was James Harvey Boler/Bowler born in Brown Co. Ohio. and Rachael Amanda Linton born WV. I will see if I still have the folder on the Boone Co WILEY's which I tried at one time to find some connection but was unable. Kim, Here's a request with a Boone Co connection. I can't discover what happened to my gg grandfather William Asbury Tatum following his divorce from Rachel Hendrixson. Rachel was working for a family in White Co in 1880 and had her daughter Emma with her. William reportedly took one son with him, the other son and daughter were farmed out to relatives, and William may have taken off for Texas. William's sons were Albert b 1867 and Nathaniel b 1860. William would have been 44 years old in 1880.
