I forgot to mention the Brown County public library has a new Genealogy computer with a lot of good info. It also has the Brown Co. death records, marriages from 1836 to 1943, along with an updated map of cemeteries and a revised burial lists. If you're new to the county this is the place to start your research.

Not sure about protocols in Brown Co. offices. They do have a new court records building--stuff you want isn't actually in the old courthouse anymore. It's back a block or two behind.
Have you been to the Edinburgh Public Library? They have a wonderful Indiana Room, and an extensive Brown Co. collection, including c
Hey gang,
Just a short reminder to the vets and newbies at this site of my free research for the asking here at Andersonville. Of the 41000 Union soldiers on record, 1954 are from Indiana.
Please email me directly at Frye@pstel.net with request so we dont tie up the county site.

According to Richard Coulter's book on the Hubbard family, Charity Hubbard's
parents were John Hubbard and Rachel Hubbard.
Richard lists her brothers and sisters as: Benjamin, Lucy, John, Katherine,
Easter, William, David, Moses, Nancy, Aaron, Joseph and Edmond Hubbard.
Edmond Hubbard is my line. I hope this helps.
