Hello,
I wish I could help you more.... I do not live in Indiana and do not have
access to the Clinton county records. Have you checked the Clinton County
Webpage for the Hopkins surname? I depend on other researchers to submit
information..... I then copy the data to the site.
Wish I had more for you,

I have a number of records that refer to Middleford Cemetery and a
number that refer to Middlefork Cemetery. Is there anyone who lives in
Clinton Co. or has knowledge of the correct name for the cemetery?
Also both are listed in Rossville and Ross Township. Are these the same
town? I know where I came from in Ohio, as a population grew larger, it
changed the name of the place. Such as village (ville), township, city,
etc.
Thanks in advance for any information you might have to offer.

An ancestor of mine worked for the Homily Mills for several years (1870

I have already checked Tippecanoe County with no luck. I would like

Hello,
I have several families in Clinton County. Scircle, Wallace, Bogan, Ryan,
Botts, Gregg, Kutz, Thurman, Jacobs, Orr, Baker, Owens, are just a few of the
surnames that I have in my database. Several of my cousins have more
information on the Scircles, Greggs, Thurmans, Ryans (Bruce Ryan has done an
amazing amount of work on the Clinton County and White County Ryans) and just
starting to get information on the Bakers and Jacobs.
Check out the Scircle Family Genealogy Pages at
http://www.geocities
I have copies of pages 374-377 of the "History of Clinton County, IN, 1886"
which covers the 3 months and 3 years military service of Company C, 10th
Regiment of Volunteers during the Civil War. It lists names of all the
participants for the 3 months service and just those of the officers for the
3 years service.
I will gladly do lookups for the names of your ancestors.

Marilyn,
It is the Middlefork Cemetery, and is north of Michigantown just off of
Highway 29 about a mile south of the Howard County line. It is in Warren
Township now, and the small village nearby is Middlefork.
I have a map of all the Clinton County Cemeteries. I could make a copy and
send it to you, or I could scan it and send it as a very large file. Let me
know what you want.
