9. Re: [INCRAWFO] Tinsel Miller [1]
Thank you so much for the census info. Ancestry.com's 1920 census search engine did not show Tinsel. Maybe the transcriber couldn't make out the name. Would have have any info on the Tensil Miller below? Odd to have 2 Millers with names like this in Indiana unless they refer back to a common ancestor. Thanks again. 14. Re: [INCRAWFO] 1850 and 1860 Census Lookup [1]
Shirley -- I have Crawford Co. IN 1850 and 1860 census which I transcribed from microfilm and published several years ago. There is no Gilpatrick listed in Crawford Co. in 1850, 1860, and 1870 census. In my research and listing all Civil War veterans who served from or lived in Crawford Co., I have found only one Gilpatrick/Gillpatrick: Andrew Gilpatrick/Gillpatrick served in Co. F, 144th Regt., Ind. Vol. He listed his residence as Leavenworth, enrolled 6 Feb 1865 at Jeffersonville, mustered in
