I don't have a relation to Naegele's but there was a Father Naegele at my church when I was growing up. I think his first name was Joseph. He was at St. John's Catholic Church in Sunfish Kentucky in the 60's. He used to sometimes include in his sermons his experiences at prison(s) where he had worked in the past

I sorry but the Eisentrager/Isentrage of Michigan , PA and Iowa were just that Eisentrager even those they were spelled Isentrager once in a while.

On the 1830 census, it only lists head of household. Jacob, Joeseph and John Harwood are heads of household.
You might want to signup for Ancestry.com census records. Also, may I recomend a couple of books. These are excellent sources. You can buy them on Amazon.com
