I went to Germany and searched the Dauner line and visited all the cities.
Phillip Dauner born April 1815, Baveria Germany, is the son of George Michael
Dauner who died bef 1825. George's wife was Margaret Becker. Phillip married
Eleanora Amer Nov 12, 1825 in Heuchelheim, Berzebern, Germany (Rheinland
Pfalz)

I am looking for information on Adolph B. Himmelreicher who married Barbara
Horr in 1876 in Aurora, Dearborn Co.
They had at least one child, a son by the name of Hugo who was born ca.
1877.
Barbara died January 1882 and is buried at Riverview cemetery but I have
no idea what happened to Adolph or his son.

I am new to the list, and was interested in the 37th Indiana Infantry.
My gr-gr-grandfather, John ZURBRICK, was supposed to have been in
Company G of this regiment. Does anyone have access to a roster of the
37th, who could look for John ZURBRICK?? (I have not been able to find
it on-line.) He was actually from Erie co., NY, but he ended up
marrying a Dearborn co. woman named Melissa STEVENS. I am researching
the Dearborn surnames of:
STEVENS, HAYES, TRESTER.

I am interested in the Alexander Surname in the County. I know that my
Alexander's came from VA to Jackson Township, Dearborn Co., IN in 1835.
They would later move to Ripley Co., IN in 1844.

I am interested in the families of George Adam and Johann Adam Renner.
Both settled in Aurora in 1849. Their brother-in-law Nicholaus Horr came
at the same time to Dearborn Co. All three of them emigrated with their
families from Germany in 1848.

I have that LAURA LEWIS, b. December 09, 1796, Barnstable, Barnstable Co.,
MA; m. (1) AMOS LARRISON; m. (2) WILLIAM RAWLING. Laura was a daughter of
Jonathan LEWIS and Hannah HALLET who were very early settlers in Dover. I
don't have any further info on Laura - if you have any info I would
appreciate it.

John Helfrich from New Alsace, Indiana born 3-6-1870 or 71. Married Helen
Hartley 5-3-1900(Washington DC), they had 6 children and he disappeared

about the 37th Indiana Infantry. Two people were able to confirm that
my ancestor was in Company G, though his surname was slightly
misspelled. I have been trying most of this week to confirm his
regiment & company, so this was a big help. The other research
suggestions were also helpful, and much appreciated.

Abel A. Larison, d. 23 Apr 1874, aged 53 y 2m 1d, is buried at the Ottwell
Chapel Cemetery in Whitewater Twp., Franklin Co., IN just a couple of miles
from the Dearborn County line.
Susan Larison, b. 20 January 1766 in NJ, d. after 1805, was married to
Jonathan Watkins. Their son Johanthan and wife Phebe are buried at Ottwell,
and others of this family are buried at Braysville Cemetery in Dearborn
County, Indiana.
