1. [INDEKALB-L] Wesley Parke [1]
My ancestor, William Park, is the brother of Wesley Park (none of the records that I've seen have the 'e' at the end. They may have dropped it at some point). Wesley was born July 22, 1811. He was married to Sophia Ingman. Wesley was very prominent in DeKalb County. He is said to be the founder of Auburn, IN. Go to the following web page: There is a search engine at the top of the page. Type in the word Park (leave off the "e"). Many connections/links w
2. [INDEKALB-L] Wesley Parke [1]
Seeking information and descendants of Wesley Parke, who was married to Ingman,Pembroke, and Aldrich. He was born in Ohio about 1811 and moved to DeKalb CO. Indiana. His parents were Amos Parke and Susannah Miller. I believe his sister was my Gr. Grandmother and I would like to exchange information and fill in some blanks as what I have is sketchy.. I am also trying to research the Miller Family who had family members settle in this region as well. Any help or information would be deeply appreciated.
3. [INDEKALB-L] Ship Lists added [1]
Hello all! I recently added 16 more ships to Firstmom's Genealogy Resources - Ship Passenger Lists, making that over 60 ship lists on the site now! And, one of the best additions, I added a search tool to the page! If using the search tool, keep in mind that names changed, were written/transcribed/heard incorrectly, so be sure to check for various spellings! If Plummer was written as Plumer, it won't show up on the search results...and so on. There are German, Irish, Italian, and Scottish ships include
4. [INDEKALB-L] Eddy Cemetery [1]
I am trying to find info on my great-great grandfather LaVern Faulkner who is buried in Eddy Cemetery. Is it possible to obtain records from this cemetery, and if so, can anyone provide me with the address? Thanks for your help! 5. RE: [INDEKALB-L] Eddy Cemetery [1]
Hi Joanna, I am currently in the process of transcribing some of the Cemeteries of which Eddy in DeKalb, County is one. I will check for any/all Faulkner's who may be buried there. I also have 2 other cemeteries I'm working on and will cross check those as well. I may not get a chance to do so until next week but will check. Thank you... Thank you for your prompt and generous response. I will review the pages you recommended and get back to you. I do hope this is a fit. I can provide information about the Park(e) family prior to their migration to Indiana.
