Looking for: JOHN EATON and wife EDNA NORRIS EATON
JOHN was a school teacher in the Ohio 1880 census.
Lived in Garrett, Dekalb, Indiana in 1904.
Would appreciate any guidance for obtaining a census or obit for him.
Thank you,
Sandy Faller
I'm new to the list, but am searching for a Mabel Rowe who married Fred W
Stoll.
I know that they married in DeKalb County on March 5, 1916. Son, Walter A
Stoll is born 1917 and then a daughter Alma is born about 1918. Mabel Rowe dies
in 1919 and is buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
Fred W Stoll was born about 1889 in Germany. He remarried in 1921 and had at
least one more child that I know of.
I need a more specific death date for Mabel E (Rough or Rowe) Stoll. I'd
also like an obituary, but I c

Eliza, Don't know anyone on this list either but keep sending I'll hit some one of these days. There are some names that I recognize but don't know anything about them or where to find them or their relatives. Thanks. Kimberly.

When you get off at the Auburn exit you will go right from the light at the
exit. That will take you toward Garrett (you will be on Highway 8). You will
go a few mile - through at least one stop sign - and will come to a large
intersection - (it is called "mile corner") with a gas station on your left and a
food stand called the "Blue Moon" and a gun store/practice center. Continue
straight - (don't recall how far) but you will come to an intersection with a
sign saying "Union Christian Churche" -
Thanks all, for the replies,
patt

Thanks to all who have responded to the names that have been sent out.
This is from a project that the County Recorder is having me work on for them. Some of the records are really interesting.

My only suggestion is to get off ofd I 69 at the Auburn exit and go W
toward Garrett. The Cemetery is located at Indiana 8 and CR 7.
The first Auburn exit coming from the N is Indiana 8. I can't tell you
exactly where CR 7 is, so you might stop at any one of the gas stations
and ask.
Hope this is of some help. Good luck.
Hi Sandy,
My Great Grandfather Robert Ross, of Garrett, had a sister Mary who married
George Eaton in Noble Co. IN, in June 13,1867. They had children but I only
know one of their names - Blanche. The Eaton family went to Michigan - Allegan
County I believe. Blanche came back to Garrett, maybe some of the others did
also.
I don't know if this will be of any help but here it is for what it's worth.
Good Luck, Steve Ross
