I have a group picture of DeKalb Co.'s high school graduates of 1926 which
I plan to send to the library once I figure out how to put it online.
Perhaps Scott Vincent would be interested in it also.

Hi Patricia!
As far as I know I am not related to the Watson family, but my ancestors,
Peter and Lydia Kester, are buried in Watson's Cemetery. (They also came
from Ashland Co., OH.) Would it be a lot of trouble to post what's going on
with the restoration project after the reunion and ways that individuals
out-of-state can help?
Thanks.

Recently, I have had the opportunity to visit the
Garrett Library. If any of you have roots in the
Garrett area and have materials to donate, this
library is seeking to build their local collections.
The head librarian is Kate Birdseye. At one time she
was a manager of the Allen County Genealogy Society
and is very interested in establishing a GOOD
genealogy department for that area.
The Waterloo Library has a good collection of
materials for that vicinity. They are seeking to

Well actually there are two Peter Kester families in DeKalb Co.
Peter S. Kester who married Annabelle Widney. I believe they lived in
Wilmington Twp for a time. He is of Quaker heritage and there is a book on
the family called: The Pound and Kester families, containing an account of
the ancestry of John Pound (born in 1735) and William Kester (born in 1733)
and a genealogical record of all their descendants and other family
historical matter. Comp. by John E. Hunt. Chicago, Regan printing house,
1904.
