Hi Annie Yes, it is sad but I guess that's the price we pay for progress. Probably has something to do with the fact that mothers today have to go out to work and so have no time to catch up with friends and neighbours as in the old days when our mothers were "Ladies of Leisure" literally. Talking about street parties, we were still in London for the H.M.'s Silver Jubilee when we attended a couple of street parties. Not only did the kids enjoy themselves so did the adults. Hello List, On May 24, 2003 I listed the LDS Film numbers of The Society of Genealogists India Card Index. Some of these cards have data on both sides. Film 2220421 covering from HAY, Emma to HOGG, Ian G includes HOARE on frames 2531 to 2558 inclusive, and HODSON on frames 2855 to 2882 inclusive.
