I'm glad it isn't anything worse. I had already figured that you would not be in
today.
Things are fairly quiet except for Tessie's machine which is unusable.
I've got on the Visual 5.0 machine a bit. I'm not going to try to move it. Would
be better to have it up here for a day or so anyway if we are going to
experiment with loading the data from vmfgdemo.
What became of your last test on DNC?
Not close to catching up to some of you, however, there are finally some
on the Steuben site!
Here they are:
BAKER, Frank W., CRAIN, Chester P., CROWL, Peter, GRIFFIN, Eli B.,
HOSACK, Ray D., McNAUGHTON, Robert C., MENGES, William J., NORTH, James,
WOLF, Francis F.
PS...Scott, Thanks for the help...they are all .txt as you want!

Ok, my turn. I am Laura Curtis Gabbard and I am the bio. page coordinator
for Clay and Greene Counties.
My grandparents and father are from the Clay/Greene county area
(specifically Jasonville) and Dad was born in Linton. If anyone is from
that area do you know the Curtises? :-) Anyway, except for my husband
being from Clark County and my mother-in-law being from Orange County, all
of my other lines are from Kentucky. But I am currently focusing on my

Hi again everyone!
You may remember that I sent a request through for someone to take on the
links pages for Indiana Biographies.
Well...I received no responses. I'm sure you all will agree that a links
page is important, and it's important that it be up-to-date....no broken
links, plenty of links to other sites....etc.
We have decided to make the links pages "adoptable" with all the benefits
of a county site. Right now those benefits include nominating a site for
the site of the month, voting for a s

Hi everyone,
I have spoken to Dee about copying and pasting bios. No problem, That
will be just fine. We would appreciate, however, a private e-mail
stating which ones have been coppied from what county to what county.
That will help us keep things from getting confused when the counts are
done etc..
Thanks.

Hello, everyone. Sorry to be lagging behind!
My name is Terry (Houghtaling) Nolcox and I'm the county coordinator for
Gibson County. I have lived in Gibson County since the age of two (born in
Lawrence Co, IL) and have been involved with genealogical research since I
was 14 - 32 long years ago! Some of my ancestors were in southern Indiana
as early as 1784, and most by 1820 (Gibson, Knox, Perry, Spencer, Warrick,
Orange, and Washington Counties).
I'm a full time mom of an 11-year-old boy; my husband is em
Our library has a book which contains short biographies on most of the
WWI vets from Fulton Co. It was compiled by the Fulton County Council
of Defense (which as far as I can tell is defunct). I can find no date
in the book to indicated when it was compiled and published, no
publisher name. I would like eventually to put these on my bio page but
don't want to get into a copyright hassle. Anyone have any suggestions?
Some of these sketches contain family information which could be useful
to people resear
