Seeking marriage information on a possible marriage between John Carter Jr and Elizabeth Nutterfee/Nutterfield. Time span could have been between 1829 and 1833, ANYWHERE. It is probable that Eliza was previously married,( at the age of 13) in Nelson Co.,Ky, to an Andrew Pitman. John and Eliza appeared in Owen Co.,In approx 1833-1835.

I am looking for any information on a John Krodel, born Dec. 1837 in Bremen, Germany. John immigrated in 1861 settling in Dubois Co. He married Catherine Frank Jan. 3, 1863. I have him in 1880 and 1900 census for Dubois Co. Children are: John F., Elizabeth, Louisa, Frederick and Tillie. I am interested in knowing if there is a relationship between John and other Krodel familys in Dubois Co., where John and Catherine might be buried and also any information on descendants. Hello, I am the new State Coordinator for the Indiana Census Project and would like to urge each of you to consider transcribing a Census. I along with about a million other Genealogists would Thank you. Our Project was started by volunteers of The USGenWeb Project, to transcribe all of the US Federal Census' and upload them to the Internet where they will be available in a searchable archive for all, for FREE. I'd be interested in helping transcribe, but seriously doubt that I'd be able to afford the book or CD.....and I wouldn't be able to borrow or "check it out" because, I imagine that it'd take some time. Who were the following, and where were they from? I am seeking a JOHN CARTER Jr, dob 1-2-1813.John had sons with the same names, which is the only line I have seen them in. Mason Carter Mar Margaret Dewitt and Margaret Ortman.
