I am searching for information on Balthasar Miller & his descendents.
On July 01, 1847 he landed at New Orleans. He left Steinbach, Germany on 3
Apr 1847. He was sworn in as a citizen 9 Aug 1853 in Dubois County.
His wife was Maria Anna Wetscher. They were married in Germany.
I have 7 children listed for them:
(1)Balthasar Miller
(2)John Miller, Jr. (my line) b January 05, 1834 , Bayern, Germany (Bavaria)
d December 03, 1908 Washington, Daviess, Indiana m Mary Amelia Dishinger
September 11, 1855 Jasper, Dub
I am new to this list and am interested in information on the Shiloh Cemetery. I am researching the last name of Hardin and have found that several relatives are buried in this cemetery.
I am hoping to go to Indiana in October and want to visit Shiloh. Is this cemetery "still is use." Is it accessible? Is there a website with grave marker photos? Does anyone have a listing of the burials?
Any information you can provide would be helpful.
Thanks!

I may be able to get up there for you. I don't know how soon it would be,
though. If you'd like to send me the info, I'll see what I can do.

This cemetery is located in Crystal, IN in Dubois Co. and it is on the route
to French Lick. It is in the NE section of Dubois Co. near Orange Co. I
don't have any plans of going that way any time soon. Hope this helps. It
is a nice cemetery.

Hi list,
Does anyone have access to Crystal Cemetery? I am interested in finding
photos or the exact location or both of my great-great grandparents,
supposedly buried in Crystal Cemetery. They are Josephus and Mary Margaret
Pendlay PAYTON. He died in 1913, and she died in 1924, I believe. If
anyone knows the whereabouts of these graves and this cemetery, please
contact me.
Thanks a bunch.
