Could have been ANY county since people would sometimes travel great
distances to be married -- might have wanted to go on riverboat for their
honeymoon, etc and been as far away as the Ohio River counties of Indiana.

Judy m. Pigeon Roost, IN is located on US Highway No. 1 at the border between
Clark County and Scott County. Look at an Indiana Map directly north from
Louisville, Ky. It is the site of the last Indian massacre in Indiana and
marked with an obelisk which tells the story. The settlement as nearly wiped
out. Survivors fled and forted up south of there. There is a church and
active cemetery. The old portion of the cemetery contains the grave of my
great grandfather, a Civil War Veteran. Max Powers. MRPEY

NC. Thanks in advance, Max Powers. Email me at MRPEY AOL. com. If we can
