Sarah Wilks was born 1850 in Indiana, married John Wolford, moved to Nebraska
after the Civil War, died 1918.
Sarah has been illusive. Her parents do not appear in any Tipton County
census and her own census replies state she was born in Tipton County.
(State records back then did not require a birth certificate) The name is
sometimes spelled as Wilkes.
The 1900 Nebraska census states her father was born in Pennsylvania and her

Clermont Co., Oh, and then to Hamilton and Madison Counties, In.

Who were parents of Peter Schuyler, who married Catherine "Treenie"
Philhower,daughter of Jacob,and Elizabeth Hart Philhower, April 1819, at
Hamilton County, Ohio. It is NOT the Peter Schuyler, born 6-21-1801, who
married Barbara Apgar...
Peter and Catherine were both born in Hunterdon County, NJ, and migrated
first to Clermont Co Ohio, and then to Hamilton/Madison county area in
Indiana.

Seeking Census lookup on 1870-1880 census, for following...Noah Sharp
SCHUYLER, born 1852, Mountainville, NJ. "Went west", at adulthood. Might
also use Sharp as given name...
Probably would be in community of following names.. Hoffman, Philhower,
Abel, Seals, Schuyler, Apgar... All of whom migrated to Clermont Co., Oh,
and then to Madison, Delaware, Hamilton, and Grant Counties , Indiana...
Any help appreciated.
