12. Wm. RUTLEDGE b. abt 1795 TN in IN by+-1820 [0.986526]
Hi List, I am new to this list and do hope you can help me break down a wall. William RUTLEDGE, my third great grandfather, was in IN about 1820. The 1850 census in MO shows him with all children before 1846 born in IN. Only one child has helped more than that. My second great grandfather, Loyd Amos Rutledge, said he was born South of Salem which seems to me to be Harrison Co. There is no wife shown in the 1850 census but must have been one for the birth of two sons in MO in 1846 and 1848. He m

Liz, I am not sure this will help... my Langley's moved to Harrison Co in 1820. Prior to that they were in Muhlenberg, Shelby, and Fayette Counties in Kentucky. There was a marriage to a David ELLIS that I recorded to Elizabeth Langley in Muhlenberg Co KY . (note the father died in Fayette Co KY) 03 Jn 1833 - Davis G. Ellis - Elizabeth Langley While searching I ran across this John Ellis Family that came from VA to KY who has a son John as well as David too. I also have some info on a Robert Ellis
