I, too, am looking for this family. My connection comes through Nancy Westfall, m. John Hockman in Harrison Co., IN in 1819. I believe Nancy is a sister to Stephen as he vouched for her age at her marriage. Both contend they were born in KY. Nancy would have been born about 1801.

Would like to find the name of the Boarding School at Corydon, Indiana that was conducted by a Mr. Wm. May in the 1850's. Does anyone know the name of the school, and if the records still exist? Any help you could give me concerning this school and its records would be greatly appreciated.

Hey gang,
Just a short reminder to the vets and newbies at this site of my free research for the asking here at Andersonville. Of the 41000 Union soldiers on record, 1954 are from Indiana.
Please email me directly at Frye@pstel.net with request so we dont tie up the county site.
