I am searching for information on Solomon WETZEL/WHETSELL born May 23, 1819 in Wythe Co. VA. He married Eliza BURRIS on December 3, 1840 in Knox Co. IN. Solomon was the second son of George and Margaret CARMENY WETZEL, George was the son of Peter and Elizabeth STRAW WETZEL also of Wythe Co. Va. Solomon and Eliza had the following eight children: Thomas J. b 1843, George W. 1845, Charles C. 1847, Martin 1850, Laura D.,1854, Margaret 1858, Nancy 1861 and Eliza 1864.
