Hi,
I recently subscribed to this list but have not seen any traffic! ??
Perhaps this will help. I have several families in this county (which is
where my Dad was born). Does anyone connect with these names: LONG, MACHAN,
ATWATER, PRESTON
I will be happy to share.

I'm Judy Sackett Fabry, researching the SACKETT, RAMSBY, NEFF families who
lived in Lagrange and Noble Counties at least as early as 1850. The
SACKETTs and RAMSBYs lived in Eden Twp. I'm having trouble locating the
NEFFs, though. Does anyone have any information about any of these
families?
Hello,
I noticed the messages about a lack of traffic on this list. I just
recently joined this list and thought I would post my LaGrange Co.
surnames.
I'll post more information later, but if anyone is researching these
names I'm willing to share any information I have.
Kathy
I am still looking for anyone doing research on the Moak (Mook, Moke, etc.)
and Hagerty names in the LaGrange Co. Indiana and White Pigeon Michigan areas.

I don't have any of these names in my research, but just wanted to share
the same concern Peg has. It appears this listing is new, so we might
have to wait a while. I've posted a query last month, but this is the
first "traffic" e-mail I've received. Hope more will subscribe.

Hello LaGrange County Lister's,
My name is Ron Sieber, and I am interested in corresponding and
trading information with others interested in:
RYASON/RYERSON, John, b. 1801, Issac, James, Samuel.
Spelled his name Ryason, m. twice.
John Ryason, son of John Ryason, was born in Wheeling, W. Va., Mar.
18, 1801, and d. Oct 13, 1878. Resided first in Pennsylvania, then in
Ohio and later settled in what is now La Grange, Ind., with his
brothers, Issac, James and Samuel. They were pioneers in that section.
