Only 1868. But I found a EVERTS EVERT saloon, 222 East Washington residence
the same.
Hey, James Whitcomb Riley, an Indiana poet hung out there. He was a big
boozer. My great aunt knew him. Cool

I saw this recently in a Funderal Notice of a deceased ancestor. Could someone tell me
what kind of a Lodge it is and if still in existence. Also address & phone number. It is Victoria Lodge. No 22 K of H. This was in 1884.
Would the Troub Memorial Church still be in existence. It was located between Wright and Leonard in 1915. I would like the address & phone number also of it.
Thanks for any help given.

Kay,
Crown Hill Cemetery is the largest and one of the very oldest. I have family buried there starting in 1872, but was around before that. They have great website and you can search for your ancestor's graves there on-line. The genealogy society has there offices there and will search for burial records at a nominal fee and mail to you. There is also the German Catholics Cemetery that is quite old as well. Hope this helps you find something.

William Maynard arrived from England a few months after the 1860 census was
taken, he enlisted in the civil war, he buried his wife in 1867, he remarried
in 1868. I can not find him on any 1870 census. Might he be in the
Indianapolis directory for 1868?

Is there any possibility that it could be Fritchie? My grandmother lived
near some Fritchies MANY years ago... back in the early 1900s.

I just went to AOL mail controls. One of the options is to allow anything in
your address book. I list all my rootsweb mailing lists and other mailing
lists I belong to. According to AOL they should get through.
