Hi List:
I am doing a one name study on the name COVEY. If anyone has run
across any of these folks I would certainly appreciate hearing from
you.
Thanks in advance for your efforts.

Does anyone know if the Culver Citizen is on microfilm? I recently paid
a visit to the Culver Public Library and discovered that they have bound
copies of the newspaper, but due to their brittle condition I was denied
access to them. Connie Meyer
Hi list,
I have finally finished going through the newspaper clippings so this will be my last post on them. I will keep all remaining ones for awhile and then send them off to the genealogical society. Here are the last ones.

I have just gotten copies of the Petition for Divorce filed by my

the case, including the cross-complaint by my gg-grandfather. The papers
are fascinating with serious (for the time period) accusations, but now
I would like to find out if there were hearings and minutes of those
hearings recorded by the stenographer or clerk. Are there microfilms of

Dear list,
I thought I'd transcribe a portion of the pension file for my gg grandfather John (Johann) Conrad Frevert. It contains a petition signed by a number of area residents, and I thought that perhaps this might help someone pin down a date. I've deciphered the handwriting as best I could.

Connie,
Yes, the Culver Citizen is on microfilm. You can try to get it through interlibrary loan at your local library; it is available through the Indiana State Library, I believe. I have found a lot of interesting tidbits of information concerning my FREVERT and LOUDON ancestors written up in the local goings-on sections of the Citizen in the early 1900s. Good luck!
