Michael,
I don't know if this will help, but I know that the library in Shoals
has a list of Civil War veterens that filed for pensions. I found my

Loogootee (in Martin County) shares the county line with Barr Township in
Daviess County, where many early pioneers settled. St. Mary's Catholic Church in
Barr Twp is near the Davies/Martin County line.

Hoping someone can answer this qustion for me. Everything I have been able to find shows that present day Martin County would have been part of Knox County in 1811. Is there any part of the County that would have been part of Harrison County at that time?
