On the 1850 Tuscarawas, there is the following, and I've checked them, none
seem to be who you're looking for. I've not done a lot of German names or
Swiss, but if I remember right, they use 1sts, 2nds, sometimes 3rds, quite
interchangeably. I will try John & Ann on the 1850 somewhere. John

No Joseph's, no Bernards, or close name.

The reason you are receiving the email about ZIMMERMAN is because you are a
List member to the INMIAMI list. If it is a name you are not researching
just delete it. There are a lot of names on the Miami Co., IN list.

There is a Joseph Zimmeran 37 in Peru, Miami Co. in 1860, wife Louisa 24,
and Andrew 24. Joseph is listed as born in Baden, Germany as well as
Andrew. Joseph is a Grocery man, and Andrew is a Baker, no relationship
given. I find none of the Zimmerman's on the 1850 in Miami, but
Tuscarawas Co. Ohio has 4 pages full of them. John
Please email me a copy of the map or send it by snail mail.
thank you,

These maps can be emailed right from the Ancestry.com site at the FHC.
I'll be there tomorrow.
But I do have a copy on a disc.
I don't know if I got the whole thing as it seemed to have 2 pages listed and I only saved the first page.
Will email it to you at your address as rootsweb mailing list do not allow attachments.
Hope this will do.

Hi, Lora: Are you still researching the KILGORE line. I am so happy to see
you online here. My computer crashed and caused me to lose a lot of info.
But if I promised you anything on the Kilgore line, let me know. I think
you might be the Lora I remember that was from John H Kilgore. Linda

Hi!
A friend brought this map to my attention.
If you have Ancestry.com you can access it.
If not, you can go to your local FHC for a look at this map.
I have saved it on a disc. Let me know if you would like a copy.

Today's featured map is: MAP OF PERU AND INDIANAPOLIS RAIL ROAD WITH CONNECTIONS, 1850. Just thought you might want to look at this one.
Peru's Mount Hope Cemetery partial database is online
at

Thanks to all who helped get this project ready to be
available on the Miami County INGenWeb site. This
represents 3306 burials. Special thanks to Regine
Brindle for organizing this project and photographing
some gravestones.

It was their featured map.
Do a search for "Ancestry Daily News".
That's how I found it. Let me know if you need me to send you a link to the newsletter.

I hope someone can help me. If anyone is perhaps related to this family, I would like very much to have contact.
I realize when researching the surname ZIMMERMAN, looking for a specific person and/or a family is reminiscent of attempting to empty the ocean using a funnel. Which isn't made easier when I have relatively little information to begin with?
Johann Benedikt "John Benedict" ZIMMERMAN, b. c. 1825, German Cantons of Switzerland, (Solothurn, Aetingen, Germany), d. c. 1879, Harrison Twp, North Gr
