Researching MALLORY, BOND, BESANCON, DRAPER lines - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------- I am seeking the grave location of William T. MALLORY, d.10/17/1879 (age 40). I'm told that he was a Methodist Circuit Rider. He and his family lived in Morgan Co., IN. I'm not sure of the circumstances of his death. I can only assume (for now) that his death occurred in Morgan Co. I'd appreciate any leads, suggestions, or help. Thanks, Bill Mallory

There is a Luretia FORD married WILLIAMS Harry in Crawford County, Indiana 3-1-1830 Maybe this is Sarah Lucretia FORD's paternal grandmother. There are also 23 TROXELL in the early marriages. I agree the list is too quiet. I am trying to trace the family of Henry Jackson Jordan, born 1803, is buried there in the community of Hall. Most of his family moved on to Missouri but I think a couple of his children remained in Morgan county. Joyce Curry

Trying to locate Willis Overton in 1870 Morgan County Indiana Federal Census. Willis appears in 1860 census as son of Jesse Overton (Clay Township). Next appearance of Willis is in 1880 Morgan County Census (Gregg Township). Have been unable to locate Willis in either Hendricks county or Morgan county in 1870. I am hoping that maybe someone could look up the lady on the real 1870 census and tell me what it says. He name is Mary JARVIS, age 33 born in Indiana and lives in Morgan Co., Monroe twnshp and is found on page 479. She was born Elizabeth Mary Copeland, daughter of Warner Copeland and Elizabeth Mary Bailey. She married John Jarvis, who was killed in the Civil War. John and Mary Jarvis were living in

My ancestors Abraham Gross and Isabel Troxel were married Morgan Co IN, both b Wayne Co KY, m 1831...Their parents also to IN. their son Samuel Gross m about 1852 to Sarah Lucretia Ford--perhaps she was b in Morgan Co...some think her mothers maiden name was Doty. Samuel and Sarah to Coles co Il., Miller Co Mo., Tx, Cleveland co Ok. Any clues re Sarah's parents would be most appreciated. Isabel died, Abraham went to Coles co Il., Taney Co Mo and then I lost him, not sure where he died. Thanks for any help..

I'm trying to get some information on the family of : Alexander SCOTT b. 1790-1800 who was living in Owen Co.IN and listed on the 1840 census there in Franklin Twp. with his wife and 8 children: 7 sons and 1 dau. I can't find him after that census and am wondering if he might have moved to a neighboring county? I'm trying to find out if he is possibly connected to my SCOTT family who migrated to Owen Co.IN from Carroll Co.OH. If anyone has any information on this family....please contact me.
