1. Marriage records [1]
I found that Ally LTHORN married in Parke Co, IN 10-2-1841 to Riley BROWN. Indiana marriages before 1850 are on line at: http://www.statelib.lib.in.us/www/indiana/genealogy/mirr.html Good luck with your researching this lady! 2. Marriage records [1]
I found my widow, Alley Drake THORN, listed as head of household in Parke Co., 1840. She had 2 female children with her, both under 10. Alley THORN does not appear in IN as head of household in 1850. I speculate that she may have remarried. Does anyone have access to marriage records between 1840 and 1850 and later ones, 1860 to 1880? I need anything that might have female THORNs. Shirley Maynard

(about $20.00) is not always possible for everyone. There are othe

Now on the 1840 and 1850 census Daniel was living in Parke Co IN. I have information he died in 1862, but no burial place. I have no spouse name, only have the names of two children Joseph and Jim and possibly another child. I have very little information on him and know the MYERS line is like trying to
