Some more information on Nathan Adamson: Nathan was a partner with brother Elisha (my ancestor) in contracting business. They were bridge builders and many of the old early wooden structures of Parke Co. were their handiwork. In "History of Clark County. Covington Republican 12-28-1902 - Reuben WILKEY, son of Enoch WIlkey of Sylvania died at Ridgefarm Ill Thursday Night Nov 20 of pneumonia age 21. Reuben went to Ill some time ago to ohusk corn and was about 12 days. He was a young man of excellent character and well known in this vicinity. Mrs. Vora Millikan of this place is his half sister. The funeral was held at Rush Creek last Sunday. Levi Woody conducting the service with interment in Rush Creek Cemetery.

Marsha, I don't have any documentary evidence that shows the birth date or place for Seth Catlin Sr., the father of Robert Catlin of Parke Co., IN. Likewise I have not found any documentation that shows the marriage of Robert Catlin, the presumed father of Seth Sr., and Elizabeth. I would appreciate it if you would cite any documentation you know of regarding these events.
