My husbands grandmother was Bernice Canine Causey Manwaring. She was married to Ivan Bruce Causey and then to Luther Manwaring. Bernice, Ivan and Luther are buried in the West Union Cemetery. I have photos of many Parke County tombstones including ones at the Causey Cemet

I find that William W Barnes married Eliza Jane Weatherford in Parke county on 10-25-1846. Prior to that Samuel Weatherford married Eliza Jane White in Parke county on 8-21-1842. Evidently something happened to Samuel. Couldn't find them in the 1850 census. Good luck. Don

I got the asylum records in the Rockville, Indiana public library. They have many other genealogical records available in the library, some predating 1850. There were no records that old in the asylum records.
