Hi everyone,
I will be in Perry county next week for a couple of days and will be glad
to do lookups. I will be going to the courthouse and the health
department, and the library. I doubt I'll be going to any cemetery, but
that may change once I get there.
Anyone needing a lookup, just contact me off-list and please remember, I'm
only going to be there for two days.

I am the gg-grandson of Jacob Wagner (b. AUG 1838 d. 29 APR 1911)and
Anna Barbara Poehlein (b. 25 JUL 1840 d. 19 NOV 1928) through their

information to help me clarify these areas.
First - Regarding Jacob's moth
I am looking for information on the family of PRESLEY HAUGHEE/HAWHEE who was
married in Perry Co. in 1844. Does anyone have access to census records
that might tell the whereabouts of this family in 1850? Or are there court
records of this family? He married Arabella Rose and I would like to learn
more about her family. Presley and Arabella may have died by 1860 as their
children are all living with other family members.

I keep putting this off for several years and figured while on my mind I will send to ya'll - it is a hint on how to read censuses better.
If you have access to a digitized copy (you make photo of the census reading and then digitize it yourself or you look at a copy at places like Ancestry, etc) then you can actually manipulate it so you can get to see what it says better.
Once you have the census page copied to your machine then you want to use a photo program that allows you to manually adjus
