Bill, T15N R3W is Floyd Township. According to the 1879 atlas (quite a bit after the time you're asking for, granted) the land you described is all owned by H. Sutherlin - Section 10, Eh of SWqr and the SWqr of SEqr. It's surrounded by land owned by D. Ader, S. Evans, A. Wilson, J.R. Lydick, Anna C. Lewis, J.W. Williams, and M.P. & H. Sutherlin. Hi Everyone, I looked up the Wilson names mentioned today in a Family Tree Maker file that was submitted a few years ago by Jack Wilson of Greencastle, Indiana. There are about 320 Wilsons, in that family tree, including my Grandmother, Grandfather and my Uncle on the Wilson side. I have a Sarah Wilson b. Dec. 18, 1812 Ky, d. Sept. 9, 1888 in Russelville, Putnam Co., Indiana. She was the daughter of Thomas Wilson & Jane Hughes who were married July 25, 1805 Lexington, KY. I don't know who Sarah's husband was, but her brother, William Wilson was born Sept. 23, 1808 in Flemingsburg, Ky. Sarah also had a sister named Jane who was born Nov. 10, 1810, in Flemingsburg, Ky. My ggggg-grandfather, Jonathan B. Humhreys, died in Putnam County around 1832. He had gone to Vermilion County, Illinois to claim land and fell ill when he got back to Putnam County to move his family. I have been unable to find a burial for him. Is there anyone out there who has any ideas as to how I might find his grave and some places where he might be buried?
