It has been a while since I have contributed to the list. If any of you are searching for Edward Smith, who is recognized as the first settler in Stark County, I will be glad to share information. He acquired land beginning in 1838 in Oregon Twp Section 1. He is my daughters 3rd great-great grandfather.
