Yes! That helped immensly! The Frank is my grandfather and I was very happy to tell my children that their great grandfather was born in Czechoclovakia. I had been searching quite a bit and hadn't had any luck as far as finding the information.

Hello,
Does anyone have information regarding the date of death and possibly burial site of Mr. Ira and Effie Clark (husband and wife)? According to my father, they both passed away in North Judson around 1945.

It has been a while since I have contributed to the list. If any of you are
searching for Edward Smith, who is recognized as the first settler in Stark
County, I will be glad to share information. He acquired land beginning in
1838 in Oregon Twp Section 1.
He is my daughters 3rd great-great grandfather. Edward came to Indiana from
England, married Jane Usher in Clinton Co, Indiana and moved to Stark County
where a number of their children were born. He was a the census taker in
1840, and elected as a coun
