4. [INSWITZE] DeKernan, Dekerman & Bowman, Boman [1]

12. Re: [INSWITZE] William Davis - Ferry Crossings IN to KY [1]
There were ferries at Ghent and Warsaw that shut down when the Markland Dam opened. It essentially cut off an 170-year relationship between Ghent and Vevay. I received a message saying the Vevay school teacher who was gathering info on ferries was actually Ginny Reeves, a librarian at the Switzerland County High School. That's all I know about it. I don't know if she completed her project or published or any more about it. Good Luck, Bill Davis *******************************************

My mother's father lived in Florence, IN, across from Warsaw and my family rode the ferry across many time when I was a child.
