That's way it is here in Austin, Texas also. We have to ring the bell and
alert somebody inside. The doors are always locked.

Hi Peggy,
I live in Vigo County and found it very difficult to get into the church

Elaine in Terre Haute.
Dear Rob,
Do you have Conover, Smith/ Schmidt, Hoagland or Maxwells in you line?
My Vigo Co. ancestors have used Warren for a first name several times.

Mary,
Found you message interesting because:
1) my daughter-in-law's maiden name is Market. I don't have a lot of details
for this surname. Her parents are Mike Market and Geraldine Stewart. Do you
by any chance have any information on them? I know they are from the Vigo

Hi Elaine,
I don't think he would have been related. Jan lived in the south end of
T.H. We were best friends, she stood up with me when we got married.
Her father (Elder) died of TB when she was small. Her mother remarried, I
don't remember her husbands name. I know she has a brother in T.H. But
I don't think she is close to him anymore.
By the way you sent a letter to me that you had for Sharon. I sent it on.
I told Sharon that it was something that I would do. I am glad someone

Dear Jan,
The Kibbler/Kibler surname is found in Shenandoah County in the 1700's
and early 1800's. I am not a researcher of this family, but have seen
the name as I did research in that area.
I also went to the Switchboard site and entered the surname and found
quite a number of matches. There were none in Indiana, but you might
see something there that would be a clue for you.
Also, Genforum has a site for the Kibler family. You might list it
there and see if anyone responds.

To all of you who went to Wiley High School, do any of you remember my Aunt's Gladys or Marjorie Tilley? I believe they both taught Mathematics.

Hi:
It appears to me that Invigo County does not yet participate, but one
good resource, in general, for finding someone in a cemetery is the Rootsweb
Tombstone Transcription Project at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~cemetery/indiana.html. While Invigo County
apparently is not yet involved, many surrounding counties are, and perhaps
you will find what you are looking for in what is there. There are a number
of states/counties which do participate, not just Indiana.

Hello, Donald Deal!
My name is Mary Turton. Would you have any information on the family of
Solome (or Salomah) Deal? She is my great, great grandmother and married my
great-great grandfather, Solomon Market (or Markert), on 15 January 1835, in
Wayne CO, IN. Was wondering if she is related to you and if you have any
more information on these two lines (Deal/Market or Markert).
Solome was born about 1813, and Solomon about 1809. I have unconfirmed
information that she is from Ohio and that Solomon is fr
Looking for any information on the TILLEY family.
My Great Grandfather was Superintendent of Terre Haute Public Schools (James M. Tilley).
My Grandfather was Civil Engineer in Terre Haute (Robert Light Tilley). My Great Aunts were teachers at Wiley High School during the 1950's and 60's (Marjorie Tilley and Gladys Tilley).
Any information would be appreciated.
