1. Re: [INWABASH] Ross Run Baptist Church [1]
The Ross Run Baptist Church is shown on the Lagro Township map in the 1875 Wabash Atlas, located in the SW quarter of section 14, about 3.5 miles south of Lagro, at the corner of Dora Rd and America Rd(Hwy 524). There is a short history of the church in the 1884 History of Wabash County, page 326. You should check neighboring counties. My grandmother believed she was born in Wabash County. The birth certificate was filed in another county. My 2nd great grandparents James H and Agnes (Kirtley) Hibbard were in Wabash County in 1864-65. James joined the Army in 1864 and mustard out in 1865 in Kentucky. In 1870 thier younger children were living with different families in Wabash County but there is no signs of James and Agnes. I don't know if they died or what happen to them. I know it's a six year time span I'm talking about but was wondering if there would be anyone that could do a little digging in whatever records that may be of help some in
5. [INWABASH] Ross Run Baptist Church [1]
I have found reference to a marriage between William Dillon and Mrs. John Jefferson, August 28 1870. They are mentioned to be members of the Baptist Church of Ross Run. I am assuming it is located in Wabash Co Indiana. I am looking for information regarding the existence and location of this church. I am hoping for church records.

Have you tried checking with the census of widows and orphans of the civil war. you could also try getting his military file from the NARA ( although that is very expensive, it may turn out to be the only way to get the info you seek) Dawna ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Duane Miller" Reply-To: Duane Miller , inwabash@rootsweb.com To: Subject: [INWABASH] Brick Wall Please I Need Some Help Date: Sat, 11 Aug 2007
