I have several Chicago addresses 1892-1895. 2072 Carroll 2000 W. Lake 1942 W. Washington These streets all run parallel to each other. What would the cross streets be for this slice of the @1895 Chicago street map? Can anyone help me find the 1900 ED for 65 So. 40th Ct.? Hi: Ellen Lynch was the daughter of Bridget Fagan and Thomas G. Lynch. Ellen was born February 8, 1873 in Chicago, Illinois. Ellen was single, she died at age 76 on April 21, 1949 on W. Sheridan Rd., Chicago and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Evanston, Illinois. Ellen's father, Thomas G. Lynch was born in Massachusetts abt. 1841, he died in Chicago on June 10, 1897 at age 56. Thomas was a Teamster. Thomas & Bridget Lynch's children were: Luke Lynch, d. 1883, age 2 years Mary E. Lynch d. 5/6/1880

I am reposting a request re: Elizabeth (Bessie) Rooney who would have emigrated from the Westport (Knockfin townland) area of County Mayo after 1880. Her maiden name would be Rooney if she married in Chicago. Can find no record of a marriage in Westport. There were Cleveland Ohio contacts to about the 1940s with her sister and niece's family. I doubt the cemetery would be willing (or maybe able) to give you any kind of contact information. If you're able to obtain a plot list, you might be able to get the name of the person who purchased the plot, and assuming it wasn't too long ago be able to track him or her down.
