I have several Chicago addresses 1892-1895.
2072 Carroll
2000 W. Lake
1942 W. Washington
These streets all run parallel to each other. What would the cross
streets be for this slice of the @1895 Chicago street map?
Can anyone help me find the 1900 ED for 65 So. 40th Ct.?

I am looking for a reasonably priced researcher in the Chicago
area to look at RC Church Records, and the 1900 census of
Cook County.
Can any lister recommend a reliable person?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Alan

I am reposting a request re: Elizabeth (Bessie) Rooney who would have

Dear Mr. Hughes
I address you in these lines hoping they will find you in good health
as I am at present. Thank God for his mercies to me. Having addressed
you with several letters, this is one of the sorrowfullest letters you
ever got from me. I left home on the second of November '49
I doubt the cemetery would be willing (or maybe able) to give you any
kind of contact information. If you're able to obtain a plot list,
you might be able to get the name of the person who purchased the
plot, and assuming it wasn't too long ago be able to track him or her
down. But it might take several letters, and possibly a good and
clear explanation to the person as to how you tracked him or down.
