Hi Dave, where did you find the 1841 Census abstract for Co.Cavan? My list
of LDS holdings shows only abstracts done by Gertrude Thrift for 1821, 1841
and 1851 (Film#596418) to substantiate claims by certain persons for the old
age pension plan that commenced in 1909. There are also some burnt fragments
of the 1841 census for Cork, Galway and Fermanagh on Film #100816.

Hi Denise
I also would like to stay active on the list. Right now I am at a stale
mate with my gg grandfather James Teevan. He was born in 1835 to Patrick Teevan
and Margaret McGena in Butlersbridge. I know nothing of his life in Ireland
before immigrating to the States in 1870. I don't even know his siblings
names.
thank you
Have a Blessed and Merry Christmas

I too didn't not think this was a 'roll call' but please keep me on the
list. I have a Reilly connection with Co Cavan but no leads yet.

Anne, I would suggest you post your list to the Cavan Message Board.
That way it will be easy to find some day by someone who never had a
chance to read this email of yours. Even though I seem to have some
Smith connections, they would be from Annagelliff Parish. But still, I
think your list would be very worthwhile, so please post.
Thank you!

I'm trying to learn more about the estates on which my ancestors lived in
Enniskeen parish. According to Griffith's, the immediate lessors of the land on
which they lived were Edward Wilson Nesbit in Leiter townland and the Very.
Rev. Dean Adams in Taghart North. Does anyone on the list know more about either
person? Thanking you in advance, Diane

I am also doing research on the Reillys from Cavan. Let me know if you come
across Owen and Ellen (Elinor) Reilly, a son John, who immigrated to New York
City about 1849. I will keep your family on file and if I come across
anything pertaining to them I will let you know. Happy New Year.
