Today's Topics: #1 [Italy] CAP Codes ["Jan Crawford" #2 Re: [Italy] CAP Codes [Jerry ]
That's why I specified England in the entry.

English and Scottish censi from 1841 to 1851 have been released. There are a
few small transcriptions online but the main sources are the LDS site,
www.scotlandspeople.com and www.pro.gov.uk (1901 census of England and
Wales). The 1891 is available through Ancestry.
Also check out FreeCen to see if any Lothian parishes that you want have
been included.

I am new to this whole research arena and I'm not exactly sure how this
works. My last name is DeLuca, though. It is my married name. Are you
looking for relatives or origins?
I am looking for relatives on my mother's side. They are still in Italy, in
the Napoli region, I think. Any idea how to locate them, anyone? The name
is Buonfiglio.
Grazie mille,
Mary DeLuca

Sadly no, only England and Wales. So dont be like me and spend ages
wondering what you're doing wrong - Scotland isnt included!
I dont know why this is but since the paid for Scottish site provides the
1881 census, and the census records are copyright the UK government, maybe
that has something to do with it.

Formed in 2002 for those researching their Italian/Sicilian ancestry within

We produced last year a 1901 Census Index of all those whose place of birth

Whereabouts in England are you looking at?

Edgar Stanley McQuarrie married Giselda in Rome as early at the 1930's. He
sold farm implements for J I Case, Co. We know he died in Istanbul after
escaping the Nazis. Giselda brought his body back to Rome and we have a funeral
card saying so. It does not list where he is buried. We have an early
address for Giselda but know nothing of her after her last letter in the late
1940's.
Would she have a death registration under Giselda McQuarrie and would she be
buried as such?
