I am seeking help in tracing my lineage. My grandfather's name was Logan Henry Jackson. His father as far as I am able to find out is Ephraim Jackson. I believe he was born around Sept 15, 1855 somewhere in Illinois. He died April 10, 1938. My grandfather's mother was Mary Ann Lowrance. I believe she was born June 28, 1856 in Lebanon Missouri and died Nov. 1, 1941. I believe both of them died in Oklahoma, Possibly Erich, Oklahoma. Now here is the uncertainty. I believe that my Greatgrandfathers fathe

12. Jackson's in Benton and Humphreys Co. TN [1]
A kind and generous lady looked up some census reports for me . As usual every fact seems to produce a dozen new questions. The Census is from Benton Co. "In 1830------- Able Jackson with 4 sons and 3 daughters. " I knew this except I had one more child that seems to be missing here. "In 1840, only one Jackson was found and his name was Elisha. Only he and his wife in the house hold. He is between 20-30 and she is in the age of 15-20" I didn't know this and I don't have a record of Elisha. Does anyone
