JACOB J. JAHN DIES
Jacob J. Jahn, 86, long-time resident of the Inman community, died at Wichita this Thursday.
The funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 in the local Evangelical and Reformed church.

Nicholas Jahn left Saxony circa 1850-55 for America.His birth date was Feb 12,1824.Lutheran.All children and most grandchildren are VERY tall,raw-boned.He probably worked his way here as a ships carpenter.Here he was a farmer.Any assistance in locating his family or roots in Germany would be very exciting for me.
