2. Re: [JAMES-L] Re: Joshua James-NC [1]
Carrie, I have been collecting information on the descendants of Samuel James of Onslow County for several years and have the descendants of some of his children. My husband Allen James (formerly of Rocky Point) is a descendant of Samuel's son Isaac through his son Samuel. If you have read Josh James' book, you know that Samuel was the son that moved to near Lane's Ferry (where he raised and raced horses, according to Judge James). Please let me know what part of the family you are seeking. I would be
3. [JAMES-L] Winifred James-m.1902(abt) ENG [1]
Hi Folks, I have very little information on this particular branch of my family. My g-grandmother was Winifred James. She married Harold Guy Kirkpatrick Richardson in England. It is believed that it was probably in the county of Cornwall, circa 1900. Harold Richardson was born in 1876 so I would assume that she was around the same age. I have knowledge of the births of four children to this couple... Joan Winnifred Richardson b. Circa May 1902, Cornwall, Devon Margaret E. Richardson b. Circa 1904, plac

8. [JAMES-L] Isaac James [1]
Seeking information on the parents of Isaac James, born 06/22/1788 in Maryland; died 01/07/1864 in Gibson County, TN. He married Eleanor Allen on 12/11/1815 in Rowan County, NC. It is said that his father was Thomas Cornell James, however, I have not found the proof. Isaac did name a son Allen Cornell James, which would lead one to believe that Cornell is a name in the family. Vicky
