Hello,
I have a request for some help with info on the following if some one can help?
I have a letter written by my great-grandfather Richard James in 1950 living in Leyton England to his daughter Gladys James who immigrated to Western Australia in 1924. In the letter he talks of not hearing from her but has heard news of her from Daddy - Billy and Les Field,

Here are a few suggestions -- hope at least one of them works.
For my suggestions, I will use the name Thomas James -- 2! first names.
1. Try searching for the wifes birth names, if unusual. My Thomas married
Barbara Britz. Searching for Britz yields fewer hits than searching for
James.
2. When searching for genealogy names, I use only lower case letters. For
some reason, this will find entries which capitalize all letters in the
surname -- searching for James with the first letter capitalized
