Here are a few suggestions -- hope at least one of them works. For my suggestions, I will use the name Thomas James -- 2! first names. 1. Try searching for the wifes birth names, if unusual. My Thomas married Barbara Britz. Searching for Britz yields fewer hits than searching for James. 2. When searching for genealogy names, I use only lower case letters. For some reason, this will find entries which capitalize all letters in the surname -- searching for James with the first letter capitalized

Hi listers, I have a snip of information regarding a stepson or an adopted son of my Great-Grandfather Richard JAMES, and the ship he was on when it visited Australia, could some kind loving helpful person point me in the right direction on taking this a bit further, where to search for info on the ship,etc...
