My Grgraqndfather was John F. Jamison/Jemerson/ Jemison? however it's spelled. He was born in NC 1828, but was living in Maury Co. TN at least by 1848 when he married my Grgrandmother Mary Ann Virginia Green. He and Mary Ann had 5 dtrs including my Grandmother Angenettie Bell or Jenny Jamison. I have had the pleasure of corresponding with Ned Jimmerson over the last few months about our Jameson/Jimmerson lines and talking about the YDNA test I recently sent in to Family Tree DNA (my brother took the test). I was awaiting the results which were due to be given to me about Dec. 19th. Ned was anxiously awaiting these results as well.
