I would like to connect with anyone researching JENKINS lines in south-middle TN counties
about 1850-1880. I am seeking parents/siblings of Nancy (Nanny) Jenkins who married
Thomas Marion Casteel on April 6, 1879 in Moore Co. TN. Moore Co. was formed in 1871
from Bedford, Franklin, & Lincoln Co.

I heard from so many of you yesterday about proving that Daniel was the
brother of Enoch and sons of Daniel and Eliza Jenkins. I thank all of you
for the help.
Now I have another problem. Don't we all. I do not have any documents that
give birth and death dates for these 2 grandparents. John Jenkins, son of
Enoch Jenkins and Ann Clarvo. Also his wife, Frances (Wilson, daughter of
Possibly James Wilson). Does anyone know if they had wills? I do not have
any records for that late dates.

Found this in 1880 census, hope it helps.Two Casteel families next door to
each other, with a Nancy and Marion Casteel.

I am seeking Nancy (Nannie)'s parents.
I note that she is shown as 4 years older than Thomas Marion.
It is possible that her maiden name was Brown and she had been
married to a Jenkins prior to her marriage to Thomas Marion on April 6,
1879.
Family tradition says that at her death the children lived with Granny Brown
