The following is the obituary of my Great-grandfather Jenkins, copied from
the HOLTON RECORDER of Holton, KS. Included with this clipping are the
photographs of a young man and young woman. I am not sure who they are. If
anyone "connects" with this and would like a (photo)copy of the
pictures/obit, please e-mail me. I am hoping someone can identify the young
man and woman.

I'm just starting to research my Jenkins line. My grandparents were JAMES
OVEL JENKINS (1890-1961) and MAGGIE NITA GORE (1892-1970) of GADSDEN, Ala.
One relative had James' parents written down as W.A. (William?) Jenkins
(1854-1947) and M.A. Jenkins (no maiden name) (1852-1915). The GORE family
was in Albertville, AL, and James and Maggie were married there on 27 Nov
1910.
Please let me know if you can help!

Elizabeth Thomas JENKINS was my ggrandmother.
Elizabeth was born 6 Apr 1846 supposedly in Scituate, Plymouth, MA.
Elizabeth died 12 Oct 1935 in Oxford, Oxford, ME.
