dont know if there is any relation could be i cant get any farther back than my grand parents on either side of my family i have digging into everything i can find but so far no luck

I am looking for any information on: David Porter Jenkins (father of William Lewis Jenkins) DOB abt. 1820 in TN or KY (according to information on census) He also lists himself as D.P. Jenkins, David P. Jenkins, and Porter Jenkins. He married Mildred Elam (7/25/1827-9/17/1861-daughter of Thomas Elam) on 1/11/1844. After her death in 1860/61, he married Eliza Scott, who is listed as William Lewis Jenkins' mother.

Looking for parents of Stephen Jenkins and his wife Lydia Stiles. They were married in Piermont, N.H. 20 Feb. 1779, when he was about 20 and she 14. They lived in Bradford, Vt. for most of their married lives and then spent their last years nearby in Fairlee, Vt. He died in 1828 aged 70 according to pension files (1829 on gravestone). She died in 1838 age 74 on gravestone.
