I am looking for descendants of William Henry Johnston (1840-1922) and Mary Ann McGillivray (McGillvery) Johnston (1842-1915). Both of these people were born in Columbiana County, OH. They subsequently moved to Michigan about 1877. Then, about 1907, they moved to St. Helens, Oregon (Columbia County). They were parents of the following children:
1. Arthur E. Johnston (1864-1936) who married Emily Jane Evans (1868-1936). This couple remained in Michigan when William and Mary moved to Oregon.

This is the Johnston family I am tracing. I would love to hear from anyone related or
working on these lines. They settled first in new Brunswick, CAN and then went to
Maine, USA, with a few ending up in NY and WI, USA.
(1) John Johnston, b. 1720, SCOT; emigrated to Antrim, IRE bef. 1751, then to CT, USA in 1753.
(2) Charles Johnston (John) was born March 27, 1751 in Antrim, Ireland. He married Sarah Lewis 1770 in Connecticut, USA.
Residence: New Brunswick, near St. John River, opposite Frederickton
I also have a William Henry Johnston, born 1851 in (probably)
Shannonbridge, County Offaly, Ireland. Emigrated to New Haven
Connecticut in 1873, was chief of a fire company in 1900 Census,
married Margaret O'Brien and later Catherine ______?. Children
William Henry Jr., Lulu, and Leicester. I am looking for William's
parents born Ireland. They may have come to USA at same time.

Am looking for relatives of Hugh Robert Johnston. He was the
quartermaster on the Lusitania in 1915 when it sank. He was also a
survivor of the Lancastria sinking in World War Two. He was living in
Liverpool as of 1955.

Territory, February 23, 1894. Died November 6, 1967 San Pablo, Contra Costa,
CA. Married Cassie Wagner in Oklahoma about 1916.
I have a last name for his mother. (Sales).
William (Bill) and Cassie Wagner, Johnston had 3 children.
Hershel, Clarence, and Edith Johnston. All three are now deceased.
I am doing this research for the granddaughter of Edith Johnston.
(Edith was my (now) x mother-in-law.
