died 1947, in Kenya, married to Linda Wagstaffe, born about 1893, and,
subsequently, to Mollie, born about 1895. Children: Robert (Bobby) Johnstone,
doctor, born about 1920, and Peter Johnstone, born about 1922. Peter had two

Hi there
I'm new to the list... I'm not even sure how many
members there are. I was just wondering if anyone
know of any Johnstone's who emmigrated to southern
Africa.
Thanks
Liz

Hi Susan
Thanks for the reply. I'm afraid the Johnstone's I'm
looking for were in South Africa so I'm not sure if
there's a connection. The only info I have is an
Adelaide Johnstone being born in 1906, but I'm not
even certain if she was born in SA or abroad. But I
appreciate the reply... will look into it and see if I
can find any link.

Good afternoon. I just wanted to touch base with you a moment. I will have
to do some checking, but I believe my husband's Grandfather, Roderick
Johnstone, Sr. had a sister that wound up in South Africa. I'm still
recovering from my youngest daughter's wedding that was last night & we have
another daughter getting married in 6 wks, but I'll try to get back to you
this week with the few details I have.

Looking for fellow researcher of a Mary Ella Johnstone, d/o Mary B
who married Charles C. McCorkle 2 June 1885.
The name McGinnis also works in with her family.
I believe I know of one son, Eri.
